Voice of Ragpickers IN India.
This short documentary emphasizes the injustice treat for the labours and the rights of children. The film depicts why children fill the streets, running after cans and rags, instead of chasing their dreams. These children can’t go to the school like other children because their parents can’t afford it. Instead, they are forced into degrading work to help earn enough money for their families to survive. In their uncaring and heartless world, conditions of their labours are physically and mentally traumatising. Health and safety are non-existent and workers face a short life expectancy. I felt responsible to these labours and their children to lift up a voice and call more compassionate people will work for change and justice.
